Carer

We have been providing caring services in Berwick-upon-Tweed for 10 years and we can boast the highest standards of care, excellent facilities, first class staff and above all, the right approach to caring for you

We are trusted with the welfare of people at a very important time of their lives. We know how important this responsibility will always be. That’s why we ensure that we use only the best resources everywhere.

Quality of care depends on the quality of our staff. Firstly, we employ dedicated personnel. Then, by constantly investing in specialist training, we can ensure a high standard of care at all times.

We ensure a flexible philosophy of care that makes the most of abilities and minimises disability. We continually look to speed recovery and assure comfort.

We are committed to excellence in sharing caring. Every member of the team, from cleaner to qualified carer, know how important being "at home" is to all our residents.

Being a team includes working with our residents, their family and friends as well as with doctors, nurses, dieticians, social workers, recreational, occupational and speech therapists. All striving together to achieve a common aim - independence and peace of mind for everyone we support.

The types of Care we provide are as follows:

DE Unit
Of particular pride to us is our secure, newly developed 13 bedroom DE unit.  Refurbished to a high standard and incorporating it's own tastefully decorated lounge and quiet room / dining area, this unique facility is the latest major facility in Northumberland for residents suffering from a mental disorder (other than a mental handicap) who are also over the age of 65.

Private residents are most welcome.  We can work in conjunction with your care manager to arrange for the payment of fees or state funding.

We provide 24 hour professional care by staff who regularly undergo intensive training.
